The Aroma Group is committed to achieving excellence in all activities, to include health, safety, fire prevention and protection of the working environment.
We recognise the nature of our business encompasses working within others’ premises, and as such we respect and promote a clear, safe working environment to encourage a positive proactive approach, whilst maintaining high quality standards and demonstrable Health & Safety management.
In managing our operations, we will –
- Provide all our people with suitably clear and concise informative instructions. This coupled with full comprehensive training in a supervised environment to enable individuals to undertake their duties efficiently and competently.
- Promote a healthy and safe working environment, with ongoing development, introducing workable strategies and workable practices, through to evaluating effective monitoring and management procedures, which will assess and control any risks within safe work systems.
- Ensure safe use, clear identifiable hazardous substances/materials are controlled accordingly (as reasonably practical), and equally ensuring all our employees/suppliers fully complies to avoid breaches, in accordance with current legislation.
- Commit to compliance with relevant UK Health & Safety legislations, regulations, best practice ensuring all our people, suppliers, contractors fully adhere to avoid breaches.
- Develop and promote our corporate management ethos to our people to deliver a clear understanding of their responsibilities, and the relevance of undertaking their duties/activities in such a manner and not to misuse/abuse anything provided by The Aroma Group, their customers/clients in the interests of their own and other’s Health and Safety welfare in the workplace.
- Undertake regular risk assessments to ensure every work activity will describe the preventative/protective measures required to avoid, reduce, eliminate or control the risks identified to a tolerable level.
- Ensure all reportable/non reportable incidents are reported, promptly fully investigated and procedures implemented to prevent reoccurrence.
- Provide and maintain an equipment register and ensure all equipment is maintained, managed and controlled effectively.
This policy represents our general position which is supported by our personnel and endorsed by our Managing Director.
